Abstract:

In this paper, we mainly consider the homomorphism which preserves k-space codes, 1-comma-free codes, 2-comma-free code,1-k-comma codes, 2-k-comma codes, 2-k-comma intercodes, 1-intercodes and 2-intercodes.

2. Transparent Data Hiding for True Color Images [Download PDF]

Authors:

Majid Masoumi (corresponding author), Mahsa Rezaei

Abstract:

Recently digital watermarking turns into one of the hottest research topics in the multimedia signal processing community for its ownership confirmation purposes. In this paper a transparent data hiding for image authentication which is compatible with HVS is presented. For satisfying the security of the proposed scheme three private keys are considered. In order to meet transparency issue, the luminance layer of image is chosen for undergoing the first level of wavelet transform. So, using PRNGs the watermark is scattered into the mid-frequency sub-bands of host image. Eventually, Simulation results show the high transparency of the proposed system, while gratify the robustness against lots of attacks.

3. Estimating available bandwidth in wired IPv6 networks [Download PDF]

Authors:

Mahamat Hassan Borgou, Cheikh SARR (Correspondence author)

Abstract:

In this article, we propose a new technique to estimate the available bandwidth of routers and by extension of one-hop links in wired IPv6 networks. Our technique exploits the fact that a router can estimate the link occupancy by monitoring its environment. It also provides a non intrusive estimation meaning that it does not generate additional traffic to perform the evaluation. This estimation process is based on IPv6 extensions. We show by simulations that our technique provides an accurate estimation of available bandwidth on wired links in IPv6 environment compared to other approaches.

4. Factors that enhance or hinder acceptance and use of mobile devices for learning: A meta-analysis of 60 studies on mobile learning [Download PDF]

Authors:

Hasan Al-Zahrani, Kumar Laxman

Abstract:

This paper discusses the meta-analysis of 60 studies related to learning with mobile devices conducted between 2005 and 2013. It explores the factors indicated by research as enhancing or hindering the acceptance and use of mobile digital devices for learning. A review of the literature related to mlearning shows that there is a growing body of research on m-learning and mobile devices do offer promising potential to improving educational design and delivery. However, more future research work needs to be carried out in the area of outcomes and implications of mobile learning in relation to educational practices to deepen our understanding of the utility of mobile devices in enhancing pedagogical delivery processes.
