1. Dynamic regulation of cross traffic in wired IPv6 networks [Download PDF]

Authors:

Abstract:

In this paper, we propose a new protocol named Regulation of Cross Traffic (RCT) which supports Quality of service (QoS) throughput guarantees and provides a distributed regulation mechanism for cross traffic in wired IPv6 network. By adapting dynamically the rate of cross traffic among the network, RCT increases the acceptance ratio of QoS flows and provides a good use of the remaining resources through the network. Our protocol also provides an accurate method to evaluate the available bandwidth in wired IPv6 networks which is able to differentiate QoS applications from cross traffic. Through extensive simulations, we compare the performance of our proposal scheme with some others protocols to show the improvement.

2. Some Properties of Codes with Infinite Deciphering Delay [Download PDF]

Abstract:

In 2013, Tommi Lehtinen and Alexander Okhotin proved that if X is a code, then it has infinite deciphering delay if and only if there exist with and . In this paper, we give a sufficient and necessary condition for codes with infinite deciphering delay. Then, we construct two kinds of three-element codes with infinite deciphering delay.

3. Reference-based defect detection on OLED images using local Gaussian distribution[Download PDF]

Authors:

Abstract:

To detect defects not easily discriminated, we propose a novel measure of defect reflecting local Gaussian distribution of data points. The difficulty of detecting defects usually stems from their small deviation of features from normal data. However, when the direction of the deviation of such data is considered with respect to the local distribution, even the small deviation can cause large difference in the distribution. Therefore, we form the local Gaussian distributions from local data sets of data points and measure the difference of those distributions. For the computation of distance between two Gaussian distributions, we utilize the Fisher information distance. We examined the performance of our method through experiments of defect detection on images of organic light-emitting diode (OLED). Compared to traditional detection methods, our method showed better detection results.
